About Engagement

This site is where Phillip Island Nature Parks invites the community to be involved in decisions that affect our landscapes, wildlife and visitor experiences.

We use this space to share information, test ideas and seek feedback on projects at different stages. Your input helps inform planning and decision-making, alongside research, expert advice and Bunurong knowledge.

Not every project on this site is the same. Some are about sharing information, while others invite feedback or ideas. Each project explains how community input will be used and what decisions have already been made.

We consider all feedback received and report back on what we heard and how it informed next steps. Engagement is one part of our decision-making process, alongside environmental, cultural and operational considerations.
